Product Information
The PSB Wrist Brace is effective at treating wrist injuries that occur as a result of a fall or a collision with another player or an object. The injury is caused by the straining or twisting, the impact or the ‘bending double’ of the wrist. The most common symptoms are acutely occurring pain, swelling and reduced mobility the wrist. The pain is caused by the damage to the tissue around the wrist. Wearing a PSB Wrist Brace can help to stabilise the wrist, enabling the damaged tissue to recover. APPLYING THE BRACE
Step 1
The PSB Wrist Brace can be applied without much difficulty. Insert the thumb through the thumb opening. The closing ring is on the back of the hand.
Step 2
The elastic strap is wrapped around the wrist joint and pulled to the required tension, and then fixed in position. The pressure applied can be adjusted as required by increasing or reducing the tension on the elastic strap.
How do I choose a brace?
If a brace has been prescribed or recommended, it is wise to go to a professional establishment that specialises in medical aids or rehabilitation articles. Some physiotherapists sell braces and they can also give you good advice. Choosing the right size and type of brace requires additional know-how. Always consult an expert for this kind of specialised work.
